Built by EMD in 1948 for the Wabash Railroad as a NW2 Switcher, eventually sold to and retired by Norfolk & Western Railroad. The unit has not been started for approx. 10 years but when last used ran great but did have a ground fault issue. Some of the mechanical details include: 567A block, needs new voltage regulator, D-27B traction motors, Main gen D-4d, Aux gen A-7159, Friction bearings, #6 brake , 1000 hp, 2 control stands, No horn, bell or radio, Batteries but not complete set, New paint in 2008, stacks have been capped.
