Built in 1948 by the Pullman Company for the New York Central Railroad as a 22 Roomette sleeping car "Peekskill Bay". Sold to the Rock Island Railroad in 1959 and converted to a Railway Post Office car and numbered #867. Rock Island renumbered the car to #760 and eventually retired it in 1968 and it was sold into private ownership. The car does not have any trucks and most of the under car equipment has been removed. The interior is VERY original and this car would make a great museum display.
