Built in 1952 by the Budd Co for the Pennsylvania Railroad as a 60 seat corridor coach w/smoking lounge for service between New York City & Washington DC. Rebuilt by Amtrak for clocker service between New York City & Harrisburg. The car is currently Amtrak certified and some of the mechanical details include: 76 seats, rebuilt bathrooms with holding tanks, good windows, good wheels, full HEP, emergency lights, overhead & floor heat, air conditioning, PA system, markers, freeze protection, H couplers, emergency windows. This car is in operating condition and ready for service.
