Built in 1954 as a coach by Canadian Car & Foundry for the Canadian National Railroad. Gutted by CN in 1969 and rebuilt into a Lounge car. CN reconfigured the car several time and is currently set up as a Café Lounge. The car was eventually retired by CN and sold to VIA Rail, who retired the car and sold it into private ownership. It is equipped with a café area with bar and will seat approx. 24 passengers. In the center of the car is a stainless kitchen with refrigeration and holding ovens & steam tables. And the opposite end of the car is set up as a small lounge and can seat approx. 24 passengers. Some of the car details include: Good-fair body and roof, D22 air brake valves, tread composition brake shoes, D/C electrical system, some HEP work installed but not completed, locomotive style recirculating toilet, propane stove, OSSH trucks, good to great wheels, rotating end cap bearings.
