Built in March of 1907 as a caboose for the SOO Line Railroad by American Car & Foundry and numbered 251. Sold to a former SOO Line employee in 1974 and placed on his property. This car is very original and in overall great condition and includes recent roof work. Some of the car details include: Wood construction, friction bearings, new decking and tar paper on roof, AB brake valves, cast shoes, good body, original interior, original coal fired stove, 42,000 lbs with trucks and 32,800 lbs with out trucks, 3 ¾ x 7 bearings, Miner draft gear. Would make a GREAT museum piece or an addition to any home or business.
