This locomotive is sold free and clear of any liens and encumbrances and is currently owned by a private lender. 

Built in 1901 by Baldwin Locomotive for the Southern Pacific Railroad  and used in freight service. After it was retired by SP the locomotive was restored and used in tourist railroad service. The locomotive was in the process of being rebuilt when the project was stopped and nothing has been done to it since. #1744 is a complete locomotive and will require a full restoration.
