Built in the 1962 as a baggage/mail car for the Southern Pacific Railroad by Pacific Car & Foundry. Retired by SP and sold into private ownership. Converted by current owner into a Tool/Shop/Storage car. Some of the mechanical details include: GREAT Body with just a few areas of surface rust, great roof, ABD valves, comp shoes, body mounted cylinders, APEE bearings , thick wheels, F couplers, NEW 110/220 100 amp electrical service with new panel and plenty of outlets throughout car, NEW fluorescent lighting, 220v hook up for air compressor, exterior service outlets, exterior welding outlet, 50' 100 amp drop cord to power car, 1000lbs capacity truck crane to lift heavy items (ex: welder & torches) in and out of car, built in shelves at each end of car (items stored in car are not included in sale), great interior wood floors (no rot), crash posts are in excellent condition, very secure car to store equipment in, ISSH trucks, car is registered in UMLER, exterior security light.
