Pennsylvania Railroad Lounge Car "William Penn"

Built in 1952 as a 1 drawing room, 29 seat parlor car for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Sold to Amtrak in 1971 and eventually retired and sold into private ownership. Rebuilt and converted to a table/lounge car for use in dinner train service. Some of the mechanical details include: Excellent body and roof, freeze protection, bushed truck mounted cylinders, H coupers, tread composition shoes, rotating end cap bearings, serviceable wheels, full Head End Power, electric floor and OH heat, emergency lights, marker lights, ISSH, 26-C brake valves, updated air conditioning system, rubber diaphragms, seats 48 passengers, PA system, stainless bar with refrigerator, emergency windows, buffet area with self service refrigerators and freezers, convection ovens, microwave, grill and two burner cooktop, Amtrak electrical locker with updated Northwest Rail Electric control panels, 65KW Stadco Generator. This car is in full operating condition and ready for service.
