Built in November of 1958 as a GP9 for the Grand Trunk Railroad. Rebuilt in the 1990s to a GP9M and received the chopped nose. The locomotive is in current everyday operation and fully functional. Some of the units attributes include good wheels, just received an oil change and all new filters, repainted cab, good electrical, good body, 16-567-C block, D-12 Main Generator, D-77 Traction Motors, PDI Power House 120v Water Block Heater new throttle control, good glazing, good traction motor brushes, good batteries The locomotive interchanges to BNSF but does not have Alignment Control Couplers, interchanging railroad will accept at interchange with coupler stops.
