 Built by the American Hoist & Derrick Co. in 1953 for the U.S. Navy as a 40 ton self propelled crane, currently in operating condition. Some of the mechanical details include: Rebuilt engine, air brakes, 671 in line GM diesel engine, friction bearings, shipping weight 219,000 lbs, working weight 239,120 lbs, main generator- Westinghouse #198x8, aux generator-Delco Remy 32 watt, approximate overall dimensions less boom- length 29', width 10', height 15'.  Length of boom- 50' w/5 ft extension,  hook block- single line 5 ton capacity. Light plant- Kohler- 2 kw 115v 60 cycles. Gardner Denver air compressor, Westinghouse traction motors, diesel magnet generator, owner has operators & maint. manuals available, one magnet included, no idler car.
