Missouri Pacific Caboose #12131 was built in 1942 for the Texas and Pacific Railroad as #2378. It was rebuilt in 1952 and 1957, and eventually acquired by the Missouri Pacific at an unknown date. The caboose left service in 1986, and it was donated to the current owner. The car has some flood damage and needs restoration
