Built in 1934 as a steel caboose for the Santa Fe Railway, rebuilt by the railroad in 1964. #999060 is a very original and intact car with fresh Imron exterior paint (2018). The car is operational and would make a great addition to any museum or tourist operation. Some of the mechanical details include: Original oil stove replaced with a coal fired caboose stove, needs a few windows replaced, roller bearings, working air brakes, restroom, working lights, good wheels, ABDW brake valves.
