Built in 1972 as steel caboose for the Illinois Central Railroad, retired by the IC and sold into private ownership. Current owner did a full restoration on the car, the details include: Imron paint, 8 new windows with FRA glazing (end doors also equipped with FRA glazing), Honda 6010 diesel generator (approx. 722 hrs), all seats recovered in heavy duty vinyl, air brake system upgraded to ABD, working oil stove, working water system and toilet, 120v electrical system, new wheels & bearings rebuilt by Progress Rail in 2012, Motorola 45 watt radio, great roof and body.
