We don't have too much history on this car but it was built as a caboose and retired by the Toledo, Peoria & Western Railroad. Legend has it the car was on the rear of the TP&W freight train that derailed in Crescent City, IL on Fathers Day 1970, the derailment caused several propane explosions which leveled the town. Some of the mechanical details include: Good to fair body and roof, friction bearings, interior needs restoration, rails (not ties) are included.
