Built in 1962 as a steel caboose for the Northern Pacific Railroad and after the NP/BN merger the car became BN #10195, retired by the railroad and sold to a private owner. The rails, concrete ties, railroad crossing sign are part of the purchase. Some of the car's attributes include excellent body and roof, friction bearings, ABDW brake valves, very original interior with oil stove, bunks, cupola & conductors desk.
