 Built in the 1920’s as a caboose for the Santa Fe Railroad, retired and converted into a motel unit, this is a turnkey Caboose Motel unit and is currently in use and functional. Some of the mechanical details include: Sleeping accommodations for six that includes 2 sets of bunk beds and one queen bed that has been built into the copula. The car is air conditioned and has a small living room area with color TV, dining area, small kitchen with range, sink, microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator. The car is also equipped with a storage closet, shower, sink and toilet and wood burning stove, friction bearings and AB brake valves. NOTE: This car currently does not sit on trucks but the original trucks are available on site.
