Built in 1898 by the Palace Car Company for use on Rutland Railroad passenger car #707. In later years the car was downgraded to wreck service and used as a bunk car. After the Rutland bankruptcy, the car was used in the rail train to pull up the rails on various Rutland Railroad branches. After the Rutland retired the car it was sold to the Vermont Railroad. After the Vermont Railroad retired the car it was sold into private ownership and with the exception of the trucks, the rest of the car was scrapped.
The trucks have bolted on pedestals, friction bearings, drop equalizers, wood transoms and wood bolsters.
