Built in 1942 by the Great Northern Railroad in their St. Cloud Shop. Acquired by the Burlington Northern Railroad after the merger of the Great Northern Railway and  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad and renumbered BN 11224. The car was eventually used as a static display and it in very original condition. Some of the physical attributes include, wood body & roof, friction bearings, updated windows, GN cast trucks, oil fired stove, original bunks, lockers and cupola, locomotive style toilet, original D/C electrical system, AB brake valves.
