Built in 1958 for the Grand Trunk Railroad as #4135 and was set up as a long hood forward and a high short hood. In the 1990's it was rebuilt with a chopped nose and reconfigured for short hood forward operation. It'd Low Voltage Wiring Schematics are marked with VMV Paducah and it is suspected that they did the rebuild work. Some of the units attributes include fully operational, fresh batteries and unit starts and runs, MU (has not been tested), front ditch lights, wheels are fair, is not equipped with alignment control couplers (but interchanged to UP & BNSF last year), layover system that heats and circulates oil and water (Power Drives In), recently repainted cab, 16-567-C block, remote control system which appears to be complete (has not been tested need the remote, controller), working cab heaters, speedometer, D-77B traction motors, D-12 main generator, Gardner-Denver air compressor. 26 brake, oil bath roller bearings, body in great condition. Locomotive is in full operating condition and ready for service. .
