Built in 1947 by the Milwaukee Road shops as a Turalux coach "Granite Falls" for the Milwaukee Road. Retired by MLW and sold into private ownership. Restored to operating condition by owner and used as an excursion coach on a tourist railroad. Some of the mechanical features include: Good body, very original interior, decelostats, good wheels, 55KW Duetz diesel generator (approx 3,500 hours), fuel tank, D-22 valves, disc brakes, Nystrom trucks, H couplers, grease bearings, overhead heat, air conditioning, 1-locomotive style recirculating toilet, electrical system converted to 110v A/C, 52 seats, spacious restroom lounges. This car is in operating condition (will need a COT&S) and will make a great addition to any museum or tourist operation. A partial tax consideration is possible if sold to a non-profit organization.
