Nickel Plate GE 44 Ton Locomotive #91 AUCTION

PLEASE NOTE: The equipment being auctioned is located at property owned by the City of Noblesville, Indiana, known as Forest Park, which was previously leased to the Indiana Transportation Museum (ITM).  Pursuant to the Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, and Order issued in Hamilton County, Indiana Cause No. 29C01-1805-PL-004434 on June 29, 2018, all structures, additions, equipment, or property on the Forest Park premises previously leased by ITM and not removed by July 12, 2018 was deemed abandoned to the City.

EQUIPMENT INSPECTIONS: Inspection of equipment by appointment only, please use the schedule inspection button on each listing to schedule an inspection. Inspections available Monday-Friday 9 A.M. to 3:30 PM. All equipment is stored in a secure facility and any inspectors must be accompanied by a representative of the City of Noblesville, IN . Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, neither ITM nor its officers, members, representatives, or affiliates will be permitted access to Forest Park. 

PLACING A BID: All bidders must make a $500.00 deposit payable by credit card before you can place a bid. If you are the winning bidder, the $500.00 will be deducted from your total purchase. If you are not the winning bidder, the $500.00 will be refunded to your card within 48 hours after the auction is over. The actual date that your card will receive the credit may vary depending on your banks policy. Please note that if your intent is to increase bids and not follow through with the purchase your $500.00 deposit will not be refunded, and your total purchase price will be applied to your credit card.  All bids are made in $1,000 increments! 

AUCTION PROCESS: OMR online auctions functions like standard online auctions, if another Buyer outbids you, an email will be sent to the email address you provided when registering on our site. If you win or lose an auction you will receive all notifications via email. If you are the winning bidder of an auction, we will issue a sales contract via Docusign for review and digital signature. Successful bidder will be required to comply with Seller’s terms for the removal of the equipment from Forest Park.  See Additional Terms Concerning Removal of Equipment from Forest Park and Auction Equipment Removal Instructions in document section or contact OMR for more information.  Payment will be made via wire transfer and the wire instructions will be included in the sales contract. Payment is required no later than five (5) business days from end of the auction, late payment will result in a penalty being applied to the purchase. Once funds have been received, we will issue a Bill of Sale via Docusign for digital signature. Once the bill of sale has been completed ownership of that item will be transferred to the Buyer. All items must be removed from Seller’s property no later than September 12th 2019. Please see the Equipment Removal document posted on each listing.

AUCTION DATES/TIMES: All auctions start on June 5th at 7:00 AM (CST) and end on June 7th at 7:00 PM (CST). To place a bid, you must register on our website and submit a $500.00 deposit via credit card. If you do not win any auction your deposit will be refunded within 48 hours from end of auction (actual credit to your credit card account will be dependent on your banks refund policy)
