Built in 1930 by the Pullman Company and operated in Pullman general pool service. In 1948 the car was old to Northern Pacific Railroad who retired the car in 1953. The car was then sold into private ownership. Palm Point has 3 compartments, 1 drawing room, buffet (buffet room was gutted) solarium observation. Some of the mechanical attributes include fair body (side sheets are being repaired). friction bearings, body mounted cylinders, E couplers, good wheels, bolted pedestal trucks, some coupler carrier damage at one end
