Built in 1926 for the Colombian National Railroad in South America by Berliner Maschinenbau AG in Berlin, Germany as a 0-4-0T steam locomotive. It operated on the CNR's line from Bogata Colombia to Facatativa Colombia in various types of service. Retired by the CNR and sold for scrap, it was later sold in 1970 to the current owner who moved it to the USA, restored it and operated it on a private railroad for friends and family. In 2005 the locomotive was rebuilt to include a new welded boiler, new welded smoke and firebox, new flues, rebuilt running gear, installed turbo generator (wiring needs to be completed) and installed a larger air compressor off of a logging shay. The locomotive needs some minor finish work and is very close to being operational condition. Some of the mechanical attributes include on board coal bunker and water tanks, front pilot included, empty weight 18 ton, loaded weight 25 ton, cab in excellent condition, train air brakes, lubricator, missing whistle, 35" drivers.
