Built by EMD circa 1945 as an SW1 switcher for Hanna Furnace Company near Buffalo, NY. The locomotive was taken out of service and was set aside as a candidate for rebuild. Unfortunately the rebuild never happened. Overall the frame and trucks are in good condition, some of the mechanical & physical attributes include 567 UC Prime Mover, D4 main gen, air compressor, friction bearings, good to fair wheels, original control stand. It is missing air brake valves, 1 coupler, Aux. gen, load regulator, cooling fans and pulleys and flywheels (old manual type tensioner), traction motor leads (old ones have been cut), head lights, horn, bell, This locomotive is a great candidate for restoration or for a parts source for a similar restoration.
