Built in 1929 as a steam locomotive tender for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad as tender # 8RC 434 (we believe it was built for an 0-6-0 switcher). The tender is in overall good condition and some of the mechanical details include: Friction bearings w/ 6x11 bearings, cast shoes, draw bar has been converted to a coupler, good body. Would work as a great spare tender for any steam tourist operation or as a water car for fire patrol.
