Built in 1949 by EMD as a F7A for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad, retired and sold into private ownership. Rear engineers side and nose some collision damage but can still be moved by rail. Some of the locomotives physical attributes include 567BC block (in operating condition), 3-D77 and 1-D27 traction motors, 26L brake system, Main Gen D12, Aux Gen 18 KVA, AAR control stand, alignment control couplers. Was equipped with a Head End Power 480v generator (genset has been removed but some of the control and feed hardware is still in place). No batteries, copper thieves stole 3 transition relays, shunt field relay and ground relay and some misc. copper tubing.
NOTE: The locomotive currently has a temporary air brake reservoir and brake valve set up so the unit can move on it's own wheel. It can be used to ship the unit but needs to be returned to Seller after Buyer ships the units.
