Grand Trunk Western Caboose SOLD

 

Built in 1925 as a caboose for the Grand Trunk Western Railroad, retired and sold to a private owner in 1987. The current owner completely restored the car and converted it into a stain glass work studio. The car is in excellent condition and would make a great guest cottage, art studio or office. Some of the car details include: Magor restoration in 2007, new cedar siding, aluminum clad double payne windows, electric baseboard heat, electric and phone hook ups, new plywood floor and carpeting, 1 piece rubber roof, seamless gutters and downspouts, 40’ of track and ties, misc. railroad artifacts, origianl fold up beds, caboose chair, friction bearings, RV style toilet, excellent body.
