Built in 1950 by Pullman for the Union Pacific Railroad as a 44 seat leg rest long distance coach. Retired by UP and sold to Amtrak, retired by Amtrak and sold into private ownership. Some of the mechanical details include: Aluminum side sheets over Pullman steel girder construction, good body, OSSH, marker lights, DC electrical system (diesel generator was used to spin the standby motor on D/C axle generator), D/C air conditioning, steam heat, good interior, rotating end cap roller bearings, disc brakes, H couplers.
