Built in 1949 and 1954 for the Southern Pacific Railroad as large window "Shasta" coaches for service on SP's Shasta Daylight and for general pool service. Retired by the SP and sold to Amtrak, retired by Amtrak and sold into private ownership. There are four cars available, interiors are complete and the bodies are in good condition. Some of the mechanical details include: D/C electrical system, steam heat, D-22 valves, H couplers, very LARGE windows, 48 seats, large restrooms, original Amtrak interior, OSSH & ISSH trucks.
