Please note this car is a replica of a narrow gauge wooden coach that had fire damage. Most of the hardware on this car is original to the car that caught on fire. The person who built this car from scratch passed away and there are no records on its construction. Before the car is used in actual train service we highly recommend that it be inspected to ensure that the car is structurally sound.
WOW...pretty much describes this stunning recreation of a turn of the century 36" gauge wooden coach. Constructed by one individual from the dimensions of a car that had fire damage, this car is truly amazing! It has custom ceiling murals, coal stove, rich wood paneling, brass oil light fixtures, no air brakes (hand brake only), friction bearings, excellent body (been stored indoors since it was built), brass luggage racks, walk over seats, restroom, open windows & MORE. Really unbelievable that one man built this stunning car. A REAL must see.
