Built in January of 1930 by the Pullman Company for general pool service as a 3 compartment, 1 drawing room, buffet, lounge sun room observation car. Sold by the Pullman Company to the Northern Pacific Railroad in 1948 and had the number 349 added in addition to its original name. Retired by the NP in 1953 and sold into private ownership. The car is in reasonably good condition but will need a full restoration. Some of the mechanical details include: Good to fair body, body mounted cylinders, UC valves, DC electrical system, steam heat, friction bearings, bolted pedestal trucks, original floor plan.
