Built in 1954 by Canadian Car & Foundry for the Canadian National Railroad as a coach. Rebuilt by VIA Rail into a 64 seat snack bar coach. Converted by current owner for excursion service, some of the mechanical details include: D-22 valves, stainless water tank, holding tanks, oil fired hot water heat (base board), new air conditioning system (R22), comp shoes, 40 KW Onan generator, E couplers,  Rotating End Cap bearings, in date COT&S, registered in UMER and ready for interchange, new exterior paint in 2007, refrigerator and sink in bar area, freeze protection (on water tank only, not holding tanks), clean and serviceable upholstery, tables that can be installed between the seats, updated electrical, excellent body, OSSH, 230v standby plugs. This car is in FULL operating condition and ready for service and interchange.
