Built in 1947 by the Budd Company as a 52 seat coach for the Seaboard Air Line Railroad, sold to Amtrak in the early 1970’s and retired in the 1980’s. Current owner started conversion into a table car for dinner train service when project was put on hold. Some of the mechanical details include: Stainless construction, good body, ISSH trucks, grease bearings, D-22 valves, H couplers (one may need to be replaced due to coupler head defects), most of interior has been removed except for restrooms and lounge on one end.
