Built as a steam generator car for Canadian National Railroad, sold to VIA Rail who then retired the car and sold it to the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad who eventually sold it into private ownership. Some of the mechanical details include: Good body (needs paint), F couplers, APEE bearings, 44' long, good wheels, D-22 valves (last COT&S 12/98), has roof hatch for installation of a generator (diesel generators have been removed but VAPOR boilers are still in car). This car would make a GREAT conversion to a power car. The car has fuel tanks (originally had a generator to operate the VAPOR steam boilers) and the old water tanks can be converted to extra fuel storage. Being only 44' long it won't take up up space in your train!
