Built for the New York Central Railroad in 1949 as a slumbercoach and numbered 10380. Sold to Amtrak in 1971 and rebuilt in the Heritage Fleet in the 1990's. Sold by Amtrak and the car was being rebuilt as a crew car for the Marlboro Train when the project was canceled. Some of the mechanical details include: No trucks, most of the under car equipment has been removed, interior has been sanded and ready for painting, interior electrical systems intact, needs full restoration.
