
Built in 1945 by the Pullman Company as a 22 roomette sleeper for the New York Central Railroad. Sold by the NYC to Canadian National Railroad in 1959 and renamed Val St. Patrick. Converted to a 14 roomette dormitory/baggage car in 1973. Sold to VIA Rail and retired in 1980's. San Francisco Bay is a very original and complete car. Some of the mechanical details include, good-fair body, good roof, complete interior, D-22 valves, H couplers, DC electrical system, steam heat, crew shower, baggage room, APEE bearings, ISSH trucks.
