Built in 1954 by the Pullman Company for the Canadian National Railroads as a 48 seat Dining Car. CN sold the car to VIA Rail who eventually retired the car and sold it into private ownership. Used as a public display car with custom art work on one side, the car is in very original condition and physical attributes include good to fair body and roof, E couplers, OSSH trucks, tread brakes, good wheels, rotating end cap bearings, D/C electrical system, display lights mounted on roof to illuminate one side of car, ABDW brake valves, 48 seat dining room, original kitchen.
