Edgerton SOLD

The Edgerton was built in the mid 1950's by Pullman for the Canadian National Railroad as an "E" series sleeper with 8 duplex roomettes, 4 double bedroom and 4 sections. The current owner started an extensive renovation to reconfigure the car into a sleeper/tavern lounge. The roomettes have been removed and the upper roomette windows have been lowered to make for a uniform window band in the lounge area. The floor was replaced as need, a NEW Northwest Rail Electric distribution panel was installed, steam piping and asbestos have been removed, OSSH high speed trucks, side sheets repairs have been repaired, wheels are good-fair, car has E couplers, tread brakes, roller bearings, included in sale are NEW transformers, HEP junction box, misc parts for the HEP, would be an easy conversion into an open platform observation car

Note: All of the roomettes of this car have been removed, removing interior rooms on a sleeper can be a costly item. If done at a shop it could easily cost close to 10k in labor.
